There is no question that this workshop’s enchanting work is driven by a deep admiration of the natural world, and a desire to capture its many nuances for interior embellishment and enjoyment.
Working within this natural historical context, the atelier moulds and manipulates wood, metals and glass into frescos, furniture, doors and sculptures. Walls become fresco forests and furniture seems encased by an insect like exoskeleton (as in the Scarab cupboard design). They experiment with finishes including oxidized bronzes, and wood grain lacquered in pewter. The attention to detail and the quality of carving and moulding in their work is a testament to the long and distinguished wood-crafting lineage of the atelier.
